It happened a few years ago -- suddenly gluing things to your vaginal area became, like, a thing. I thought the trend wouldn't last, that it'd be a flash in the pan like those god-awful teeth grills, but here we are, many years later, and people are still talking about vajazzling. And not just people people, but famous people, too. Jennifer Love Hewitt, star of The Client List, told a reporter at the A&E upfronts last week that she vajazzled her hoohah for the special occasion.

Apparently, a couture gown and a team of hair and makeup personnel aren't enough to make one feel their pertiest. To really feel your best, you need to affix glittery rhinestones to your pubic triangle. I'm not sure why J.L.H. feels the need to bedazzle her nether regions, I mean, I gotta assume that less is more in her case. Her body's so hot -- why distract from all that natural goodness with some dollar store rhinestones? I don't care how expensive the procedure is, it still looks cheap.

Since Jennifer was in New York for the upfronts, perhaps she stopped by Cindy Barshop's salon. The former Real Housewives of New York star is known for giving her clients some outrageous upper vaginal accessories, such as feathers and hot pink fox fur. Fabulous.

Ms. Hewitt's been in over-share mode for a while now -- that whole Adam Levine thing and her admission that she loves her breasts (who doesn't) just to name a few -- so maybe her dishing on her vajazzle is just her latest and greatest attempt to get us talking about her. If so, kudos to Jen. Her plan worked like a charm. Despite what we may or may not collectively hope for, seems like vajazzling isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

Is it perfect? No. There is absolutely no reason for the nylons in this scenario, and the dress is creasing in weird spots. But I think it’s so much more eye-catching than what she usually wears. It’s not that Jennifer doesn’t have the body for a bandage dress; she does. She’s got a great figure. But oftentimes, great figures are done a disservice when you’re aching so hard for people to look at them. Here, she’s relaxing a little, and it’s a striking, flattering change. We can still see the hourglass; we just aren’t looking at every grain of sand passing through it.

Of all the dumb things Jennifer Love Hewitt has said over the years, she really seemed to get the ball rolling by telling outlets that she got over her 2010 split with comic Jamie Kennedy by “vajazzling” her hoo-ha. This involves getting a Brazilian wax and then getting rhinestones glued on your private area, basically making your mons look like a cheap QVC t-shirt that your grandma would wear for a night out out Sizzler. (I learned way more about this process than I ever wanted to know when an editor for the Huffington Post endured vajazzling at a salon and then made a video about it.) Well Hewitt is still vajazzling, just like she’s probably still visiting her three engagement rings at Tiffany’s every month. She told the NY Daily News that she’s currently vajazzled and that it balances her energy or something. Over-share.

I understand that this woman has something to promote, and that claiming she wants to be a Victoria’s Secret angel and telling the world her crotch is bedazzled get her press. Her show “The Client List” glamorizes prostitution, so maybe she’s trying to play up that sexy image with all these ridiculous quotes she’s giving. At some point she’s got to realize that her primary goal, getting and keeping man, is not going to be fulfilled if she keeps looking so desperate. It was one thing to spread the word about vajazzling back when it was a novelty, and to dedicate a chapter of her book on it. It’s another thing to continue to share her personal grooming habits. Men like mystery. They don’t want to know that there are jewels on your crotch prior to earning the right to see said nether region. That should be between Hewitt and whatever dude is going to hit it and quit it, to quote one of our commenters. I don’t know why I bother, since it’s always the same thing from her.

Hewitt’s Client List was of course renewed for a second season by Lifetime. She’s shown here at the A&E upfronts on Saturday. I like her flattering red dress and her style has improved quite a bit lately. She needs to ditch those terrible huge fake eyelashes of course. Hewitt has been looking like she’s got caterpillars on her eyes in most of her recent appearances.

JENNIFER LOVE HEWITT doesn’t just get dressed up for special occasions — she gets vajazzled. At Wednesday’s A&E Networks 2012 Upfront event, “The Client List” star told us that beneath her cleavage-bearing Alexander McQueen dress she was vajazzled because “it’s a special occasion.” Hewitt created a stir several years ago when she told then-TBS talk-show host George Lopez she was a fan of vajazzling. For the uninitiated, that’s when women apply glitter and jewels to their nether regions for esthetic purposes. When we asked the 33-year-old hottie if she was emblazoned with clear crystals — said to balance energy disturbances when placed on the body — she enthusiastically confirmed that “I’m full of good energy.”

Hewitt wasn’t the only star at the Lincoln Center event. Our favorite trouble doll, Linsday Lohan, made an unannounced appearance and was part of a starry crowd that enjoyed a performance from the awe-inspiring Florence and the Machine.

Battling College Football Hall of Famer Tim Green and FoxSports.com columnist and ex-college player Jason Whitlock, Gladwell and Bissinger convinced the crowd at the Intelligence Squared U.S.-sponsored debate that, statistically and ethically, the sport should be verboten. They promptly collected their winnings. Gladwell told us later the bet was his idea, to make the debate more interesting. “You’ve got to put something on it,” he said, admitting he didn’t do much prep. Jennifer Love Hewitt is ready to throw her hat in the ring for the female lead in “Fifty Shades of Grey.”“I wanna be Anastasia so badly,” “The Client List” star and executive producer told Access Hollywood’s Jill Martin on Wednesday at the Lifetime Upfronts in New York City, when Jill asked about the potential role.

The actress is a well-known “Twilight” mega-fan, so it’s no surprise that she’s joined millions in picking up the E L James bestseller, which started out as “Twilight” inspired fan fiction. In the book, Anastasia is a young woman, who after taking over an assignment to interview eligible bachelor Christian Grey, ends up on an R-Rated journey.

“I think it would be awesome. I think it would be really, really fun,” Jennifer said of the part. “I just started part of it,” she added, referring to the book. “And I’m saving the rest for my vacation in a month or so.”With her “Fifty Shades…” reading on hold, Jennifer was spending Wednesday promoting “The Client List,” which just got picked up for a second season.

Speaking to Jill, Jennifer dropped some spoilers about what’s ahead in the rest of Season 1. “We’re very close to having somebody find out what Riley does for a living, which is, you know, not good for her at all,” Jennifer smiled. “And it’s gonna be somebody really close to her, so that’s really crazy. “There is a chance that Kyle is not gone,” she added, with a grin, referring to her character’s husband. “The Client List” airs Sundays at 10/9c on Lifetime.

Oh Jennifer Love Hewitt, this is something we really could have lived without knowing. Like most celebs, the Ghost Whisperer star is a big fan of bling. But her bling goes where not much bling has been before... yes, down there.

Appearing on the US show Lopez Tonight, Jennifer revealed her penchant for decorating her lady garden with precious jewels. “It’s called vajazzling," she said. ‘After a break-up, a friend of mine Swarovski-crystalled my precious lady and it shined like a disco ball… Women should ‘vajazzle’ their vajay-jays, I am currently vajazzled… It’s cute.”

Jen went on to describe how she regularly vagazzles her "precious lady" to get that extra confidence boost before heading out to events and parties. Sure, sure, sounds like a fun enough idea. But how the hell does she attach the jewels? ...because "vagazzle" sounds a lot like "bedazzle" and that doesn't sound fun at all:

Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt has been having bad dreams that her breasts might get reduced someday. The 33-year-old actress has been showing off her assets to promote her new show in which she plays a massage therapist who gives clients happy endings.

But she has been having bad dreams about losing her assets, reports femalefirst. “I actually had a nightmare the other night that people were trying to deflate my boobs while I was working. They had tubes and I was trying to work, but they kept getting smaller,” said Hewitt.

“I was like, ‘Guys, don’t take them away!’ I’m getting issues about it, I think,” she added. She also joked about the recent controversy surrounding her cleavage. “Some random person decided they were supposed to be smaller. I still don’t know who that person is,” she said. “Right now I’m rubbing guys for a living, so I’m fine. I have my own ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ happening every day, so I’m good,” she added.
