But after admitting recently she had three engagement rings 'on hold' at the upmarket gem store, perhaps she was checking up on her waiting bling at the Beverly Hills store yesterday. While it appears the 32-year-old actress is still waiting for boyfriend Alex Beh to pop the question, she did treat herself to a bit of silver at the Rodeo Drive boutique.

Hewitt admitted back in January she had put three engagement rings on hold during an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. The news may have stunned actor/writer boyfriend Beh, who she has only been dating since last July. But needless to say, the revelation didn't put him off and they are still dating. Explaining her preparedness, Hewitt said: 'I actually have three because I feel like I’m doing the guy a favour.

'Women are very confusing. We never know what we want and we’re not very good at nailing that down for them. I feel like I don’t want to be upset if he picks a bad ring.'Hewitt acknowledged she hadn't discussed marriage with Beh, 28, admitting the idea of her putting the rings on hold was 'weird'. She told DeGeneres: '“If it gets to that conversation. If marriage comes up, I’m like, “You know what’s so weird. There is this store [Tiffany's] and there are three rings in it… And if you chose one of these three, I’m going to be really excited.

'And if you go off on your own, we can have an awful, awkward moment. So why would you want to do that?' Hewitt started dating Beh a few months after her one year relationship with Ghost Whisperer Jamie Kennedy ended. Her romance with Kennedy started just three months after she ended her engagement to Scottish actor Ross McCall after three years together. McCall is now dating West End star Sheridan Smith. Prior to McCall, Hewitt also dated LFO singer Rich Cronin and singer John Mayer.
